Defect SummaryCertain motor homes and travel trailers equipped with a two-door refrigerator, manufactured by the dometic corporation, may have a defect in the boiler tube. pressurized coolant solution could be released into an area where an ignition source (gas flame) is present.
Consequence SummaryRelease of coolant under certain conditions could ignite and result in a fire.
Corrective SummaryFleetwood will be working with dometic in order to repair these refrigerators (please see 06e076). dometic will repair these refrigerators by installing a secondary burn housing, a thermal fuse, and a melt fuse free of charge. dometic has retained stericycle inc. to manage this campaign. stericycle will assist you in locating dealerships or service centers and will provide assistance with scheduling of appointments. owners may contact dometic/stericycle at 1-888-446-5157 or fleetwood at 1-800-322-8216.

Defect SummaryOn certain travel trailers equipped with samsung microwave ovens, these ovens were produced with a defective panel. an electrical short can occur between circuit patterns on the membrane panel, especially overlapped by a jumper or jump wire. this may cause the oven to activate without pressing any key pads.
Consequence SummaryAn electrical short can occur causing the oven to activate without pressing any key pads. this could result in excessive heat, smoke, or possibly a fire.
Corrective SummarySamsung will notify customers and repair the panel free of charge. in the meantime, consumers should unplug their microwave, if possible. if the consumer is unable to unplug the microwave, they should leave the door ajar until the panel is replaced. consumers should never use the microwave oven for storage or leave any towels, paper, cloth or other products in the microwave after use. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact samsung at 800-932-3837 or fleetwood at 1-800-629-8454.

SUSPENSION - MULTIPLE AXLE
04/15/2007104/04/2000
2000 fleetwood, terry lite, 25ft travel trailer, 5900 gvwr. this spring on 4/15/07,i removed the trailer from storage and noticed that the steel belts on the tires were showing through the rubber. upon further inspection the lead axle was bent, which caused the tire to wear prematurely. i was going to just buy another axle to replace the bent axle. i wrote the axle serial number off the axle and called dexter axle for the model # or specs so i could buy another axle. dexter axle told me that the axles were only rated at 2800 # each, tandem axles), = 5600# for a 5900 # gvwr. the dexter axle representative told me that this was quite common for trailer manufacturers to put these under rated axles on, to stay cost competitive. i called fleetwood rv and told them of the problem and, that this was safety problem with these under rated axles. fleetwood and other manufacturers should be required to put axles that could handle the weight of a camper, and when a trailer started to bounce, the weight could increase. fleetwood stated that i must have over loaded the trailer. this was a false statement because i never traveled with water, and i also emptied all the tanks before leaving the campground. i just wonder how many trailer rolled over or accidents these underrated axles have caused? thank you! *ak
TIRES

I have had 6 tire failures under normal driving on the interstates with carlisle tires on my camper. the tires are blowning out at speed. i have put the same tire one each time and they all have had a blow out fuilure. it's not just one spot on the axles all four tires have blown out, there seam to be a high tire blow out problem with this brand. my trailer has been checked by a trailer shop and they have found no problems with it . they have had other complants about the tires too.
