| Defect Summary | Fleetwood is recalling 70,101 my 2003-2007 southwind, pace arrow, bounder, flair, storm, fiesta, terra gas class a motor homes; bounder, discovery, providence, excursion, expedition, revolution, american eagle, american heritage, american tradition diesel class a motor homes; jamboree tioga class c motor homes; and prowler, wilderness, terry, mallard, pioneer, pride and triumph conventional and fifth wheel travel trailers equipped with a two-door refrigerators manufactured by the dometic corporation. the refrigerator may have a defect in the boiler tube. pressurized coolant solution could be released into an area where an ignition source (gas flame) is present. | |||||||||||||||

| 2006 fleetwood terry 39ft rv. consumer writes regarding refrigerator recall *tgw the consumer stated he awoke to the sound of his co alarm and the strong smell of ammonia. after realizing it was coming from the refrigerator, he shut the unit down. after doing some research, he discovered a recall had been issued for his model # rm 2852 rb. the consumer stated he never received a recall notice. after contacting a local service center and dometic customer service , the consumer was informed dometic was only willing to pay for the installation of the safety shield and heat sensor and not the repair of the refrigerator. the consumer stated the problem was fatigue cracks which leaked fluid into the boiler tube. the consumer stated the kit was nothing more than a band-aid and an attempt to mask the real problem. the consumer stated he has not received any resolution to the problem. *jb | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2006 fleetwood terry. while driving 40 mph, both fenders on the vehicle fell off due to fender fatigue. the trailer was hitched to a minivan. the vehicle has not been diagnosed by a repair shop and the trailer has not been repaired. the current mileage is 2,200 and failure mileage was 450. | |||
