 Tl- the contact owns a 1993 ford bronco. the contact stated that while parked he attempted to apply the parking brake but it dropped to the floor board. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who stated that the brakes would have to be replaced. after the repairs the failure recurred. there was a recall under nhtsa campaign id number: 94v169001 (parking brake:conventional) that may be related to the failure. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated the vehicle was not included in the recall. the vehicle was not repaired. the vin was not available. the approximate failure mileage was 109,000. pmb
