 This police department purchased seven 1998 ford crown victorias. the hub caps on this year model are constantly coming off the vehicle at various low speeds. so far this department has replaced 10 hub caps from it's fleet of 1998 cars. we are not the only pd that has experienced this problem. numerous agencies across the country have had the same problem. theses hub caps have dislodged themself from the rim during low speeds. we have one incident were the cap struck a parked motor vehicle.ha
