| Experienced unintended acceleration. vehicle was stopped at a traffic light, with my foot on the brake. suddenly the engine raced, propelling my vehicle into the rear of the stopped vehicle in front of me, causing body damage to both. thiswas the fourth occurance of the same problem, three while i was driving, once when my wife was driving, dating back to november, 2010. we were informed, by the one repairing the body, that he experienced the same problem when driving our vehicle into his shop. he can verify this occurance. obviously, this is a serious problem, and it has already caused considerable stress and angst for both of us. the consequences could be most severe. to my knowledge there has been no recall relative to this problem, but i feel very strongly that it should be required. | |||
