| Tank shields on two crown victoria police interceptor vehicles are deteriorated.*mr nueces county has discovered that on two of it's crown victoria police interceptor vehicles, the tank shields (upgrade kits) have been damaged or have deteriorated to the extent that their ability to stop fuel tank punctures is compromised. on both units, the shield was damaged/broken on the right side of the vehicle where the shield covers the stabilizer bar mounting bracket. nueces county is in the process of having the local ford dealer replace the shields. *ts *nlm | |||
