| The filler neck leaks gas at the rubber hose. every time you add gas, does not have to be full tank. we were given this vehicle with the leak. cannot afford to have fixed by mechanic, we have a hose clamp around the rubber to hold it on. the actual metal filler section in rotten rusted away. one time i parked at a gas station and they threatened to call police to have me towed, i never heard of the gas line leaking like this but see alot alot of similar complaints on this year range of e150s. | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated after parking the vehicle and entering a store, the contact was notified by the police that there was smoke coming from the vehicle. when the hood was opened there was evidence of a fire in the engine compartment. a police report was taken. the vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic shop, where the problem was identified as a faulty vehicle speed control switch, as described in the recall letter # 06v286000, vehicle speed control, which the contact had just received. the part was replaced, but the brake and running lights failed to illuminate and the cruise control did not function. the manufacturer was notified. updated 10/25/2006 - *nm | |||
