Defect SummaryCertain aftermarket fuel filters sold under the purolator brand name, p/n f65277, shipped from january 16 through june 2, 2006, for use on the above listed passenger vehicles. due to incorrect design, the quick connectors may not fully seat with the tube interface, even though the person making the connection may believe that the quick connector is fully attached.
Consequence SummaryFailure of this connection could lead to fuel spillage and, in the presence of an ignition source, a fire could occur.
Corrective SummaryUfi will notify owners and replace the filters free of charge. the recall began on august 4, 2006. owners may contact ufi filters usa at 800-230-5876.

Defect SummaryFord is recalling certain replacement fuel tanks that could be installed into model year 2004 through 2008 e-150, e-250, and e-350 vans and wagons. the affected fuel tanks have an extra obdii sensor hole on the top of the tank that may not be properly sealed and may leak fuel.
Consequence SummaryA fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source may result in a fire.
Corrective SummaryFord will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel tanks free of charge. the safety recall began on november 28, 2011. owners may contact ford motor company customer relationship center at 1-800-232-5952.

 Tl* the contact owns a 2004 ford e-350. the contact stated that the vehicle would lose power when accelerating and then stall. the contact would have to wait thirty minutes before the vehicle was able to be restarted. the contact stated the failure would occur without warning. the vehicle was taken to the dealer several times, but there was no solution to the problem. the contact did research and feels the problem is caused by the fuel tank delaminating. the failure mileage was 50,800 and the current mileage was 120,000.

 Vehicle lost power 4 different times. fuel pump excess noise, fuel pump clogged. dealer contacted ford motor corp who blamed condition on diesel fuel. fuel pump was replaced as well as fuel filters and fuel tank. we are out $3000.00 for the repairs.

 Tl*the contact owns a 2004 ford e-350. while driving 30 mph, the vehicle stalled twice without warning. the vehicle was able to be restarted. the vehicle was taken to a dealer and they stated that the injectors caused the failure. the dealer stated that the vin was not included in nhtsa campaign id number 05v270000 (electrical system:wiring). the vehicle has been repaired more than 20 times and they always replace the injectors; however, the mechanic stated that the control module was the cause of the failure. the failure mileage was 120,000 and current mileage was 332,000.
