| We purchased a 99 e250 cargo van in november 06, we are not sure if old owner had same problem, within 2 weeks we had problems with van starting. we only have the problem after the car is shut off. it does not stall while running. we can turn it off and try to start it right back up, it will not turn all the way over. we have replaced the fuel pump and had in the shop 3 times. they are unable to find anything wrong. it has been hooked up to a computer, when it is started it shows nothing wrong, when it won't start it won't read at all. with no rhyme or reason it will start on it's own. sometimes it will be a few tries and sometimes it is days till it starts. our mechanic is at a loss as to how to fix this. it has caused my husband to be stranded at jobs 4 times now. *tr | |||

| 1999 ford econoline with multiple issues. consumer states that this vehicle has multiple issues with breaking down. he also states that this vehicle has had several engine problems, tire problems, windshield wiper motor problems. *kb the check engine light illuminated, the left rear door handle, battery, alternator, radio, ball joints were replaced. the brake rotors and pads were replaced. the axle shaft seals, mass air flow sensor, catalytic converter were replaced. the valve spring was broken, the front tie rod ends and drag links were replaced, the tires, wiper blades and gaskets were replaced. the van was serviced 9 times for the check engine warnings. *jb | |||

| The hi/lo fan switch burned out. toxic fumes entered vehicle. suffered headaches & upset stomach. later on a fire caused wires to melt down. contacted dealership's mechanic , and informed switch going out was common. have ordered part for replacement.*ak | |||
