| 1999 ford econoline with multiple issues. consumer states that this vehicle has multiple issues with breaking down. he also states that this vehicle has had several engine problems, tire problems, windshield wiper motor problems. *kb the check engine light illuminated, the left rear door handle, battery, alternator, radio, ball joints were replaced. the brake rotors and pads were replaced. the axle shaft seals, mass air flow sensor, catalytic converter were replaced. the valve spring was broken, the front tie rod ends and drag links were replaced, the tires, wiper blades and gaskets were replaced. the van was serviced 9 times for the check engine warnings. *jb | |||

| The (firestone steel tex t45 2t 225 75 r16 m/s) tires have continually experienced uneven tread wear, firestone said vehicle was not aligned properly at factory, alignments completed several times however vehicle is still having tire wear, possible tire and suspension problems.*et | |||

| Front springs and shocks are causing swaying, steering wheel pulling, extreme tire wear. van wants to travel all over road. tires are no good at 18000 miles. ford says theres nothing wrong. have seen this problem in other ford vans. have had 4 indepent automobile service stores tell me there is a problem with front springs and shocks but ford will not admitt to anything being wrong. was told that after market springs and shocks will solve problem of tire wear and steering. have had the van back to ford numerous times for numerous problems. i am extremly concerned about the safty of this vehicle and the way it steers and wobbles and the extreme were of the tires. any help will be appreciated as tamiami ford has not been helpful at all. | |||

| 1999 ford e250 cargo van, 24k miles, all 4 ball joints failed. replacement scheduled, will retain parts. know of two other low mileage, late model ford trucks with similar low mileage ball joint failures. ford does not believe they are responsible yet their own service people are telling me they see an inordinate number of these failures and wonder why there has been no recall.*ak | |||
