I own a 2007 ford escape, in which i purchased as a new vehicle in 2007. within 500 miles of that purchase date, i ended up bringing the vehicle back to my dealership (prestigue ford) dallas, texas for repairs. the trouble was that the ac went completely out. due to the warranty they repiared it. on 5/4/11, the ac went out again in which i sent it to an automobile ac specialist which diagnosed the problem as a ac compressor with clutches out. my vehicle is less than 4 years old and has 66,000 on it. there is no way that the ac would have gone out this early in its life. i would like to speak with someone to report this issue as it may be a trend towards a recall. i can be reached at 214-406-8527. i should not expect to pay for a $1200.00 expenditure on a 2007 vehicle with less than 66,000 miles.
