While driving vehicle on busy 4 lane city street vehicle just stopped running. driver was able to coast to center left turn lane bringing vehicle to a stop. vehicle would not start and had to be towed. dealership replaced inertia switch. concern is if fuel shut off switch (inertia switch) had failed while driving on highway at 70 mph with loss of power steering and power brakes it is any ones guess what the outcome may have been. there was no accident, sudden start or sudden stop to cause the switch to fail.
