 Tl-the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact stated while driving 55 mph the air conditioner coil malfunctioned, causing a freon leak and fogged windows. the contact took the vehicle to the dealer where the dealer stated that the manufacturer would not have a replacement for the coil until february 2012. the contact stated that the vehicle was not drivable and was concerned with the time frame of the available part needed for repairs. the failure mileage was 6,000. kmj

 Tl-the contact owns a 2011 ford escape. the contact stated while driving in reverse at a low speed in the driveway, the brake pedal was applied and a loud grinding noise occurred. the vehicle unexpectedly lurched when shifting from first to second gear, followed by a clunking noise. the vehicle operated as normal in the next gear. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. the tsb chip was replaced; and the pcm reprogrammed. the technician informed the failures were a common issue with this model vehicle. the manufacturer was notified of the malfunctions and the contact filed a complaint. the approximate failure mileage was 3,750. js
