| Tl-the contact owns a 2009 ford escape hybrid. while driving approximately 30 mph with the heat on the engine light illuminated on the dashboard. he stated he had set the heat to 70 degrees and it was hotter than normal. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for the failure. he was advised by the dealer that the air blend box actuator was defective. the dealer replaced the air blend box actuator at the contact expense. the vehicle was repaired. the failure mileage was 37,000 and the current mileage was 38,000. vwb | |||
