| I have had my truck suddenly jump forward about 5ft after already being stopped for a little bit at a stop light. it has happened to me more then once and my foot is planted firmly on the brake pedal. it feels almost like you are being hit in the rear but there is no one there so what gives? | |||

| Electrical: windshield leaking for a few years. first a small leak and did not think much about it. now it seems to be greater leaks into the car when it rains- leading to electrical issues such as dash lights go out, blower stays on, fuel gauge does not read right. radio sometimes will not work right and the lights go out. fuel tank: issues from day one - floats did not work right, now gauge does not read right, one point i could not fill the car - mechanic did something to try and correct it. hood/windshield leak: must be careful not to go to an automatic car wash. water into the engine area. must park at a certain angle during the rain. coil packs go out. | |||

| Was closing rear lift gate on our 2001 ford expedition the strap attaching mechanism broke causing me to fall backwards on the to pavement striking the back of my head and scraping my elbow. this caused me to be transported to the local emergency room for treatment. | |||

| 2001 ford expedition was being driven around 40mph when the steering wheel and brakes failed to work. with the help of my passenger, we were able to pull hard on steering wheel and get it to turn off road and into parking lot. vehicle was able to cross several lanes safely only because there was no traffic close enough to block or challenge this emergency need. brakes would not respond well either. accident and injury could have easily happened. air conditioning remained running like normal but the oil and batteriy lights came on after incident began. once stopped, the vehicle key was turned to the off position and then turned on again. the steering and brakes began working again. it was driven slowly home where it remains. it is very dangerous to have a large vehicle lose steering and brakes while being driven. i could not have steered clear or stopped for persons or vehicles. a very hazardous condition that warrants investigation. | |||

| My wife was driving on the road when all of a sudden the engine started making a loud sound and wouldn't hardly run. the check engine light never came. i told her to call for a tow truck when it happened the first time and he told her the spark plug had blown out of the engine on the left bank. then exactly a year later it happened again only on the right side when my wife was driving on the highway and the check engine never came that time either. we had the engine replaced at the expence of $5200.00. this was on a 2001 ford expedition with 88,000 miles on it. because this was the 2nd the spark plug had blown out and the ford dealership quoted us 13 to 15 hours to repair the hole, $4800.00 to replace the heads or $5300.00 to replace the motor with a 100,00 mile warranty. | |||
