While driving i turned on air conditioner and immediately light smoke began out of air conditioning vents and then the next moment the smoke was extremely heavy out of the vents and then visible fire underneath front passenger side dashboard. i immediately pulled the vehicle off the side of the road and exited, 10 minutes later it was fully engulfed in flames.

While driving 60 mph on the highway, driver's side front tire had complete tread-separation, causing damage to the front end of the vehicle, left side of vehicle, and flattening the rear left tire. although the driver's side front tire had complete tread separation, it remains inflated. the defective tire, as well as all tires on the vehicle, had plenty of tread left, passing both the penny and quarter test, were properly inflated, and show no cracking or wearing. all the tires were purchased at the same time and are toyo radial open country p235/75r15. a stevens county police officer witnessed the tread separation and stopped to help. *tr

When i purchased my new 1994 ford explorer, it wasn't long before i began to notice that the front end shook. no else but me drove the explorer so i chalk it up to driving a utility vehicle. i continued to drive without any undue stress, however, i began to notice that all the tires began to separate. i could see the chrome steel belt between the treat and the side wall. i used to apply armoral to the tires so thought maybe the sun was cracking the tires. as time when on, the front continue to shake as well as the interior of my veh. for the most part i would drive from the central valley of ca. to los angeles to see my family otherwise my explorer got little miles locally. all of the tires had to be eventually replaced (my cost), but the first tire began to separate and i took it to replace it at a firestone dealer, tire world in merced ca. i told tire world that the front end was shaking and that the tire began to separate. tire world told me that the one tire needed to be replaced and that it could not be prorated because of the uneven wear. they also told me that the front end needed new cams. i replaced the tire and had the explorer front and rear aligned. the front end continued to shake but there was no unusal wear to the new front tire. however, the other front tire also began to separate during a trip from chowchilla to los angeles. while passing through bakersfield,ca, a large portion of the older front tire fell off. i had to immediately pull off the freeway and put on the spare tire (same) i continued my journey and replaced the damaged/separated tire at firestone dealer, tire station in whittier. i replaced the one tire. i know had two new front tires, however the front end cont. to shake because the interior console would shake as i drove down the road. over time, the rear two tires were more pronounced and began to separate. on 11/12/00 i returned to tire world and had the other two tires replaced. shortly thereafter, there was a recall. i w.

There were new firestone tires on my explorer when i purchased it in 1998. i had to replace the tires just before a trip because it was noticed that the tread had separated to the degree that two of the tires would not longer hold air! i replaced them with another brand of tire - then a few months later firestone recalled the tires i had (i still have the spare). i applied for reimbursement, however they refuse to pay because i got them replaced with a competitors tire and prior to the recall. the very real issue here is had i not noticed the problem with the tires prior to my car trip things could have turned out very differently for me and my family. i have documentation from firestone, ford, the dealer i purchased the car from and the the dealer where i replaced the firestone tires - but firestone still refuses to acknowledge that i had the faulty tires or reimburse me for them because they were replaced prior to the recall. i would urge that the recall be widened because i don't think i can be the only person that this has happened to. thank you. *ak (tiresize: pt23575r15)( dot number: tire size: pt23575r15 )

While traveling on vacation in 1999, i had a chunk of rubber come off my tire. the tire did not blow out. even though i had plenty of treadwear left, i had to replace the tire. the rubber looked bad on all my tires so i replaced them all. i still have the original spare which is also p235x75r15 firestone atx. i was informed by mail from ford that my vehicle is not affected by recall. when i purchased my vehicle it had 35,300 miles on it. i do not believe the tires would have been replaced that quick, including the spare. i believe ford made an error in saying my vehicle did not come with tires involved in recall. i still have the spare to prove it. i wonder if ford is accidently misinforming other people about their tires not being involved in recall. i also feel the recall should be retroactive back to include 1999. i bought tires because i was forced to, not because i wanted to. the rubber on my tires looked awful even though i had plenty of treadwear left.( dot number: tire size: p235x75r15 )

All four tire failures involved tread separation on trips on i-10 between texas and california. replacements were made at non-firestone facilities. cases such as this are the very cause of the firestone recall, yet according to the latest announcements, there is no provision for either replacement tires or a reasonable allowance, since these failures were a few weeks prior to the official recall date!( dot number: vnhl imo tire size: p235/75r15 )

During the first part of august, i heard about the recall on my firestone tires, i immediately called my local firestone dealer in monroe. they explained that they were not doing anything yet; however, i could make an appt. to have my tires checked. it was 3 weeks before they could get me in. i waited 3 weeks and took my explorer in to have the tires checked. they looked at the inside of 1 tire & said, yes, your tires are being recalled, we will put you on the list to receive new tires, we are all out at this time. they also stated it would be 2-2.5 months before the tires would be in. they never bothered to check my air pressure or for any defects in the tires. i am a single parent with 2 children. my son just came home from a rehab center because he has a traumatic brain inj. from a driver who hit us head on. i have to drive my son to farmington 1-2 times a week for doctor appts. & therapy. i drive anywhere from 100 - 150 miles per trip, on the expressway. we had a vacation planned for labor day weekend to visit my parents in arkansas. we had to cancel our vacation due to the defective tires. i am very upset that it took 3 wks for anyone to even look at my tires and during the appt., they only looked at the number on 1 tire. they never bothered to check the tires. i was never put on a list for new tires until the day of my appt., 3 wks after i called. i am worried about my entire family, especially my son with a traumatic brain injury. i have no other choice but to drive this vehicle with defective tires. there have been several deaths and injuries due to these defective tires and the number continues to increase. i received the form to replace the tires on my own & get reimbursed. i can't afford to do this, i am a single parent and my ex does not pay his required support. i don't understand this, if there are tires available for me to purchase, why can't firestone put them on my vehicle or send me to someone who has them?

I own a 1994 ford explorer. on or about 1996 i began experiancing a vibration in the vehicle at high speeds, above 55mph. i took my vehicle to a local firestone dealer and had the front end aligned and the tires rotated and balanced. this only slightly reduce the vibration problem. i return the vehicle to firestone and had them recheck the alignment and balance and i was told that the alingment was fime. firestone told me to check with ford to see if there were any technical service bullettens related to vibration at high speed. i called ford and spoke with their service manager who told me there was a tsb related to vibration in explorers at high speeds. i took my exploer to a ford dealer the next day to have it checked out. i was told there was a tsb related to the vibration and that ford had a fix. the fix involved replacing the moter mounts with modified moter mount and also modifications to the rear shock mounts. i was told that since my vehical had exceeded 50,000 miles that i would have to pay for the fix , which amounted to over $700 in parts and over $200 in labor. i also notice when i veiwed the tsb on the computer screen that it only applied to model up to 1996. i told the service manager that i felt ford should replace the parts for free and that i felt it was a safty concern. he told me i would have to pay for the modification. i called ford's 800 number and expressed my concern a regesterd a complaint. since the much publicized recall of the firestone tires and reading some of the fireston/ford explore bad match articles in the news papers i began to think that the firestone tires were not entirely to blame for the problems. i have drive my vehical for over six years now and have had the orignal firestone atx tires replaced three times and the vehical has aways vibrated at high speeds. i feel ford should be required to repair the vehical without charge to the owner. please contact if you have any question concerning this matter.

At approximately 22,000 miles, both rear tires experienced separation of the tread. the separation in each instance consisted of a six inch by eighteen inch section flying off the tire. the tread separated to the extent that the metal cords were exposed. obviously, the vehicle chattered and shuddered noticably until the tires were replaced. i did not want to chance additional separation, so i replaced the other tires at the same time. the broker through whom my mechanic purchased the tires said there was nothing they could do.( dot number: tire size: p235/75r )

In june of 1998 i was preparing for a vacation and my mechanic said that i needed two tires because the tread had seperated from the sidewall and they were unsafe. upon my exam, he was correct. i just replaced them and wrote it off as bad luck. three weeks ago i went on another trip and came home on sunday. monday morning when i went to go to work, the left front tire was flat. i took it to the mechanic and he said that it had also seperated and the right front was soon to go. i have changed all the tires now. i have the right front that went flat, the left front that is ready to go, and the spare that has never been on the road. do you want them for examination? these tires were from the n. carolina plant, but maybe it's not the plant, it's the process. what should i do? i have the receipts from the last tires, but, i'm not sure about the first set i changed.( dot number: w2hl 1mo tire size: p235/75r15 )

I was driving 70 mph on 4 lane hwy when i heard a loud noise at the rear of my car and the car pulled to my left. i looked in my side mirror and saw a piece of tire bouncing on the road. i thought i had a blowout but i still had control of my car so i pulled over to the side of the road and saw that the whole tread on my rear left tire had pulled away from the rest of the tire. it still was inflated so i drove to my office 4 miles away at 35 mph and had my mechanic put on the spare. i brought my car to osburn's tire center, inc. in morgan city, la. and troy osburn told me that he would order a replacement tire and call me when it came in. i got the tire changed out and was given a bill for the replacement tire for $ 99.98. i will scan a copy of the bill and email to you. i was upset that i had to pay $ 100.00 for the tire and i also sustained some damage to the car. i asked troy if i could get reimbursed for my damages and he told me he would find out and get back to me. he never got back to me and the next thing i know, i see that firestone is recalling my tires. i would like to get reimbursed for not only the cost of the tire but get reimbursed for my damages. i have spoken to troy at osburns since the recall and he told me he not a firestone dealer and had not known at the time what steps would be taken to get my tires replaced. i have tried numerous times calling firestones hotline but keep getting busy signal. i wanted to report this incident to you so that you would be informed. what should i do about this bill and if i am owed for damages that the tread caused to my bumper and side wall while the tread was spinning around inside the inside fender wall? these tires are replacement tires but i replaced the tires with the same tires i originally had installed on the vehicle.( dot number: tire size: p235/75r15 )

August 20, 2000 on november 12th, 1999 i purchased a 1994 ford explorer eddie bauer which is equipped with firestone radial atx, p235/75r15 m+s, dot # vnhl- 1mo tires. i do not drive that fast in the winter, but this spring i noticed that every time when i went to speed up to 55, 60 or 65, the explorer would start to shake real bad. bear in mind that these speeds are on the highway or ny thruway. in june i took my explorer to wal-mart tire & lube express to have my tires balanced and found out that i had three good tires and one bad one. this was way before the recall notices in the papers. wal-mart balanced my tires for nothing that day, explaining that my tires were the problem. on july 1, 2000, i went back to wal-mart and had them replace the two back firestone radial atx's with goodyear all season tracker tires. i have the firestone radial atx p235/75r15 dot # vnhl-1mo's, which wal-mart took off. i have been reading the news paper and listening to the news stations about the recall on the firestone tires and my firestone radial atx, p235/75r15, dot # vnhl-1mo are not on the list. i'm not every happy about it and don't feel 100% percent comfortable that those tires are on my explorer. i also have a spare for my explorer that is a firestone radial atx, p235/75r15 m+s, dot # vnhl - 1mo. i would every much like to have my remaining firestone radial atx, p235/75r15 tires taken care of because there is a little vibration remaining; also, because i drive and hour to and from work. there is a lot of tread remaining on these tires and seems a shame that they are failing this way. i know that firestone will reimburse you only up to four tries but what about the fifth tire which is a spare tire, should be included in the recall reimbursement too. sincerely mary ann hughes 160 east north st. ilion, ny 13357-1214 1-315-894-3202 e-mail address's: marebare@dreamscape.com( dot number: vnhl-1mo tire size: p235/75r15 )

Had 2 of these tires fail on hot summer day within 15 minutes of each other. one on passenger rear and another on driver front. two remaining tires showed evidence of tread beginning to separate from core. turned tires into firestone for analysis (their nashville laboratory) and they reimbursed me for structural damage to rear of car. they adjusted the treadware and charged me $300.38 for a new set of tires. they refused to replace or adjust the original spare (which i still have) or reimburse for the used tire i was forced to buy in order to get the vehicle home (had 2 failures within 10 miles). the tires in question were exhibiting exceptional wear. the tires spent most all their life in southern california and memphis, tn. the tires had been inspected, balanced, rotated 8 days before they failed by the local firestone dealer.( dot number: tire size: 23575r15 )

While i was driving down the road at about 55 mph, i heard an explosion and realized it was my vehicle. i was able to pull to the side of the freeway on the three tires and the rim of the forth. the tire blew out all around the seam. pieces from 3 to 4 inches blew out of the tire on to the freeway. someone from aaa came and changed the tire for me. i initially took the vehicle to the cutter ford dealer in aiea, but they could not find any replacement tires. they referred me to the firestone dealer at 98-141 kamehameha hwy, aiea, hi 96706. the firestone dealer was able to replace the blown out tire and one additional tire. i am now on a waiting list to have the other three tires replaced. the firestone dealer had no idea when the other tires will come in. this is the second blowout that i have had this year with the same brand and type of tire. it is now very disturbing and scary to drive the ford explorer as i constantly am in fear that another tire will blow out.( dot number: tire size: p235/75r15 )

I have watched with intrest the events which have unfolded surrounding firestone's recall of the wilderness tires. i, too, own a ford explorer, a 1994 limited. in march 1997 i experienced a problem with a noise and a vibration in the front right wheel of my explorer. i took the vehicle to the nearest firestone store who checked the tire and told me there was nothing wrong with the tire. they said a certain part was bad in the front end of my explorer and it would cost me about $150 or so to have have them fix it.not satisfied with this answer, i took the vehicle to another tire dealer who checked the front end and informed me that there was no bad part, the front end was not out of alignment and the problem was a defect in the front right tire. to prove it to me, they moved the tire from the front right to the rear right. the vibration and the noise moved with the tire. went back to the firestone dealer and told them what the other dealer had told me. they all but called both me and the other dealer a liar. actually, all they had to do to begin with was say, ok, the tire is bad. you'll need to pay $x dollars because of the amount of use you have had and i would have done it and bought 2 new tires from the dealer. this offer was never made and i left very disgusted with both firestone and the dealer.less than 1 week later, around 10:00 at night, my wife and i were returning from our son's home in mobile, alabama to our home in biloxi, ms via interstate 10. suddenly, the back end of my explorer began to make a roaring sound and started to fishtail on the highway. i let off the gas and was able to stop the vehicle safely. the back right tire, the one in question above, had totally disintegrated and the flapping belts had also damaged the trim behind the wheel well on my vehicle.having heart problems, i was able to call a wrecker to come out and change the tire for me so we could get home. the next day, my wife called you, the firestone national offic

I have a 1994 ford explorer that i am not driving any more because both of the rear tires blew while driving exactly as they showed on the news report last night concerning firestone recalling 20 million radial atx tires. the first time was at night driving on the highway with my wife and both children in the car, who at that time where 1 and 5. the second time i was on my way back fron out of town alone. both times it took all i had to stop the vehicle from turning over. the first time this happend i had to send the destroyed tire back to firestone for they to examine. the second time i was asked to do the same thing but the firestone dealer lost the tire. i do have pictures however of both tires and the damage they caused. even thought i did not have the tire the second time firestone paid for all the damages both times. to hear of the 46 possiblle deaths is very disturbing to me to think of my children where in the car the first time. after the second time it happend i refused to drive the car anymore even though it is a company vehicle and part of my salary, i decided to come out of pocket and buy myself a vehicle, something without firestone tires on it. please let me know if i can be of any help during your investigation of these tire or what i should do next. firestone puts out a very dangerous product and i will never be a customer of theirs again, and i probably wont be of ford either for using such a poor quality product. thank you geoff mules jr. v. p. of manufacturing( dot number: )

TIRES - SIDEWALL

I was driving on the pa turnpike. i got off at fort washington exit. i proceeded to ft. washington expo center. i pulled into a parking place and i heard a loud pop. i got out to find my rear-passenger side tire deflating rapidly. there was a hole in the side wall of the tire. there was nothing on the ground around the tire. it just popped. *jb

I had my vehicle in for a routine pa state inspection on friday. the shop informed me that there was severe tire damage, perforated sidewall, on one of the tires. there is a separation around the entire interior sidewall, the shop doing the work (a tire dealer) tipped me off by saying. i can't believe they would replace the firestone, which were generally okay, with a tire known to have problems. a little web research yielded the following report: http://www.strategicsafety.com/library/si004.htm my 17 year old son drives this car. i'm shocked and looking for re-course. how is it possible that the firestone tires were replaced by a tire known to have the exact same issues? *jb i need some recourse here!

The front tires have slits in the sidewalls of the tires. when we purchased the vehicle we had test drove it and when we got it on the highway we noticed a shaking in the front end. we told the dealer of this problem and they said they would check into it. they said they had the problem fixed. the tires looked brand new when the vehicle was purchased. we continued with the purchase and later when the vehicle was taken on the highway it done the same thing. the dealer said there was no problem. the only time the vehicle would shake was when you were driving between 55 and 65 mph other than that it drove fine. then my driver side tire developed a leak that got progressively worse until i would have to put air in it every day. my husband put some other tires on and when the tires were removed one of them had 6 weights on it. the 2 front tires both had large cracks. once the newer tires were put on the shaking on the highway has stopped. i see so much about the bad tires on the ford explorer, that it leads me to wonder, is it the tires or is it the explorer? i do not see how there could be so many different tires that would have defects. i am lead to believe the problem lies with ford and not with firestone or the other tire companies who have paid to replace these tires. the tred on the tires is still good but they are not usable because of the cracks.*ak

I experienced an unexplainable vibration in my vehicle 2 days prior to my tire ( uniroyal radial trail king a/t 31-10.50/r15) having a tread separation/blowout on my truck. when attempting to search for where i could obtain a replacement , i found a recall ( nhtsa campaign id # 91t001000) for these tires. i contacted the manufacturer uniroyal who instructed me to go to sears & roebuck automotive. i was then informed by sears that they do not deal in uniroyal tires and could not help me. i then re-contacted uniroyal and was told that they could not find this recall even though i could supply them with the nhtsa campaign id. i was then told that it was irrelevant because my tires are over 6 yrs old anyway ( * these tires were stored in like new condition, dew to my deployment in the military). i experienced this blowout within only a few hundred miles after remounting them ( this can be told by the extreme amount of tread that is on the tires , regardless of there manufacture date. this vehicle still has three more of these tires on it and i am concerned that this could happen again. this was not a simple flat tire, this tire exploded and tread separated similar to how a tractor trailer tire violently blows. these are not the original tires that came on this truck , my complaint is against uniroyal not the car manufacturer. *jb

We purchased our 1994 explorer in dec. 1993. we immediately started having trouble with the car. it would vibrate at a higher rate of speed. we took the car to the dealer and they told us that it was a built-in vibration and that we would be contacted by ford . we also took the car to firestone and told them this story, they balanced the tires and told us to go back to ford. every time we went back to ford they told us some story that they were working on the problem and that ford was going to send them a kit to correct the vibration. we waited...we went back to firestone and they rotated and balanced the tires again. after many years of getting the run around from everyone involved we finally purchased new tires and shocks and suddenly the problem went away. now that all this information has come to light about ford and firestone covering up these problems we may have saved our lives. we would like to be reimbursed for the cost of the tires we bought. we still have the original spare. i contacted firestone about the tires and they told us that since we replaced them before the recall it was to bad, try calling ford. i called ford and they said they wouldn't do anything. we have all our paperwork to back this up. please let us know if we can do anything.*ak( dot number: tire size: p235/75r15 )

I was driving my daughter to her softball game from mustang, ok to el reno, ok on i-40. we were heading west at about 70 mph in the passing lane. we noticed the car shaking and when i looked in the rearview mirror i saw pieces of rubber flying behind me. i did not hear a blowout and when i realized the tires that were shredding were mine and not a truckers i started to move over to the right lane so i could get off onto the shoulder of the highway. by the time i got over to the shoulder, i was driving on the rim. the cost to repair the rim was $125.00. the remaining original four firestone tires were replaced in november 1999 at montgomery wards at crossroads mall in oklahoma city. according to the current recall we can not get reimbursed because the tires were purchased before jan. 2000. i am thankful my daughter and i were not seriously injured like many others, but i do not think it is fair we cannot get reimbursed for faulty tires or the repair of the rim because the problem should have been brought to light sooner than it was. also, we did experience the shredding of our right rear tire and hopefully this information will help your continued investigation because there may be more incidents of faulty tires like ours, but because no accident needed to be reported and insurance coverage does not apply because the deductible is too high, consequently, nothing was ever reported because the expense fell on the owner.( dot number: ? tire size: p235/75r15 )

Last month i noticed that part of my right rear ford explorer sport tire was separating at the bottom. the threads of the tired were smooth in the area and the steel belts protruded out. i believe this condition may be genesis of the problem with the firestone apx tires. this tire, and the other three mounted, is not one of the vd tires included in the recall. its size is the same (p235-75r15) but its dot # is w2hl1mo353. strangely, my full size spare is the vd being recalled. if an inspection of this tire would be helpful in the nhtsa investigation, feel free to contact me.( dot number: w2hl1mo353 tire size: p235-75r15 )

I had three firestone tires fail on my ford exporer between 8/98 & 4/99. the first two time were while traveling at speed on the highway, from which i was able to safely and without incident pull off the road. both of these failures were catastrophic with the entire tire falling apart. the third failure was simply the tire going flat. this tire had visual cracks on the sidewall just below the tread. all three failures where indicative of tread separation. the first two were preceeded by the vechile riding roughly. shortly after each incident i replaced the bad tire with the firestone atx or atx ii as this was the manufacture's (ford's) original equipment. the exact dates of the incidents are estimated based on the tire replacement reciepts. *ak( dot number: tire size: 235575r15 )

We were driving on i-44 between adair, oklahoma and tulsa, oklahoma. our traveling speed was 75 miles per hour. without warning the left rear tire lost all tread causing our 1994 ford explorer to fish-tail out of control. we slid off the highway and hit highway mile-marker sign 260. our explorer conintued to slide off the highway missing a guardrail by less than 3 feet. at the time, we were sliding sideways around 40 mph. hitting the guardrail would have put the truck into a end-over-end roll. my wife, two kids and myself your blessed to have missed it. the truck came to a stop 150 yards later and 40 yards down a ditch. the firestone atx tire that failed is still completely inflated just without any tread. we have notified firestone and they want us to ship the tire to nashville at your expense. if they show the tire to be defective then they will reimburse us for the demage to the truck ($5,000)plus the shipping cost of the tire.*ak( dot number: )

One year ago on august 22,1999, while driving on the sam houston tollway near greenspoint drive in houston, texas at a speed of 65 mph, an 8 inch long piece of the tire tread on my right rear tire separated from the tire. i did not suffer a blowout and was able to safely change the tire and continue home. the following day i purchased 4 brand new michelin radial tires at ntb. i did not report this tread failure to firestone or the ford dealership at the time since i was unaware that other explorer drivers were experiencing similar tread failures. after reading recent reports about firestone atx tire tread failures in usa today i decided to send this e-mail so that my experience can be documented and included in your statistics. i did not keep the damaged tire nor do i have any photographs of the tread failure. i consider myself lucky that the tire did not blow out and i did not suffer the same fatal consequences as other ford explorer drivers. while driving down the highway i could feel an extreme bumpiness before the piece of tread let loose with a loud pow and a cloud of dust and rubber in my rear view mirror. hopefully my experience will have some value in your investigation, and i would be happy to discuss my experience with you further. - charlie curtin s( dot number: ? tire size: p235/75r15 )

Firestone tire tread separation occurred on i-75 near bradenton, fl, in last october. without warning, the tread separated at highway speed and wrapped around rear axle. i briefly lost control and narrowly avoided flipping the vehicle. the tire never deflated. my 8-year old son was with me at the time. this occurred on a weekend, and the following monday i brought the tire into the firestone dealership in palm bay, florida. the manager described the failure as de-vulcanization of the tread, and mention that it should never have happened. i filed a claim through thhe firestone's insurance for the damaged that occurred to my emergency brake and quarter-panel. firestone processed the claim and paid for the damages which i had repaired totally $800. they made me mail them the failed tire, but i did take photos and copied the claim paperwork. the set of atx tires, which were my second set, had about 40,000 miles on them at the time, and were in great shape. firestone compensated me for the failed tire, but because i was now uncomfortable with the other three, and replaced them, all with bridgestones, at my own cost.( dot number: )

In august of 1999 we were travelling on i-80 from hastings to lincoln, ne when we heard a loud noise from the back of the car. we stopped, and upon inspection, we found that a chunk of tread had blown off of our right rear tire. when we got home, we had the tire store replace that tire and the next worst one. the staff at the tire store said that the other tire being replaced also had a bubble and was not far from separating also. we didn't hink much more about it. then, on 8/2/99, we are again on i-80 headed from hastings to omaha. we notice that the car is shimmying/vibrating with increasing magnitude. when we stop to inspect, we notice that there are no flats, but that the tread of the one tire is beginning to separate, so we change it. it is another firestone atx. that night, in our hotel room, we open the paper to read that there seems to be a troublesome trend with firestone atx tires on the ford explorer. we are glad we had no more troubles than we did, but wonder if firestone has a problem that they need to look atx. *ak( dot number: w1hlat5057 tire size: p235 75r15 )
