 The cruise control intermittently engages when it is turned off and the car speeds up, when the brake is pressed it shuts off momentarily then re-engages itself. it happens at any speed and there is no rhyme or reason for why it happens. ford has been unable to resolve the issue on 4 different occasions over the past month. *tr

 Tl* the contact owns a 2010 ford explorer. the contact stated that the tire pressure monitoring system warning light illuminated and the brake warning light flashed intermittently. the turn signals were operable, however the sound indicator that advised the driver that the signal was activated did not engage. the sound indicator that advised the driver that the keys were not removed from the vehicle had also failed. the dealer was notified of the failure and the contact was awaiting a service appointment. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the current mileage was 13,800 and the approximate failure mileage was 13,500.
