| Tl*the contact owns a 1995 ford f-150. while the vehicle was parked in front of the contact's residence, it caught fire without notice. upon inspection, the contact noticed that the flames originated from under the steering column. the vehicle had not been driven days prior to the failure. the fire department arrived and extinguished the flames. it was determined that an electrical fire erupted underneath the steering column. the vehicle was destroyed. the contact stated that his insurance company does not cover fires. the manufacturer stated that they would notify him by mail to further discuss the failure. the failure mileage was 76,000. | |||
