Defect SummaryCertain anzo combination headlamp assemblies sold as replacement lamps for use on certain passenger vehicles. some combination lamps are not equipped with amber side reflectors which fail to conform to federal motor vehicle safety standard no. 108, lamps, reflective devices, and associated equipment.
Consequence SummaryWithout the amber reflectors, the vehicle will be poorly illuminated, possibly resulting in a vehicle crash.
Corrective SummaryAnzo will notify owners and replace the headlamps free of charge. the recall began may 9, 2006. owners may contact anzo usa at 909-468-3688.

 1997 ford f-150 with recall on the speed control system. consumer states that the dealer charged him $68.00 for a diagnosis fee for stating there was a recall for the speed control. consumer states that he should not have been charged the $68.00. *kb the dealer wanted to charge the consumer to repair the fire damage to the wiring and other components that was done to the vehicle as a result of a faulty switch that was recalled. the turn signal did not stay on when making a turn . *jb
