| Tl*the contact owns a 2001 ford f-150. while travelling at 55 mph, the hood of the vehicle popped open; the hood also became bent as it flew backward. the hood also caused several small cracks in the windshield. the vehicle was taken to a body shop where the contact was informed that the latch under the hood broke and caused the failure. the current and failure mileages were approximately 117,000. | |||
