 1995 ford f250. consumer states engine stall while driving. *tgw when the engine stalled, the consumer had to put the shifter into park or neutral and the engine would restart. he also, stated the fuel/water separator was replaced. also, other repairs included, new hoses, fan clutch, idler wheel, brake pads, relay on glow plug, v-belt, several batteries, the lift pump and the solenoid on the starter. jb

 Tl*the contact owns a 1995 ford f-250. the auto mechanic called on behalf of the contact. the mechanic stated that the vehicle has a defective storage tank assembly. he stated that a fuel pump check valve overflowed from one tank to the other and spilled from the filter cap. he and the contact notified ford and they stated that nothing could be done because recall number 93v125000 (fuel system, gasoline:storage:tank assembly) does not include the vehicle's make and year. ford referenced service recall bulletin number 93s68. the contact paid $607 to have the defective storage tank assembly repaired replacing the electric fuel pump assembly which includes the check valve. the dealer information was unknown. the failure mileage was 174,921 and current mileage was 190,000. updated 09/06/07 *tr
