| Dt*: the contact stated in the past two years while driving at any speed with the cruise control engaged, the turn signals deactivated the cruise control. this occurred during half of the incidences of cruise control use. the vehicle was not driven very often therefore it was not taken to the dealer. during a long trip, the vehicle was pulled over by a police officer who indicated the tail lights were not working which included the running and turn signal lights. while testing the emergency flashers, the license plate lights began flashing. two recalls were observed by the contact, #05v388000 and #06v286000 pertaining to the vehicle speed control. when the dealer was contacted, they determined the vehicle was not included in either recall due to the vin. the manufacturer was also contacted who recommended the contact call the nhtsa. the contact also expressed that the turn signal and the cruise control switch were both located in the steering column within the wiring harness. | |||
