My third uniroyal liberator tire has failed in the same manner as the two before. this is my third complaint concerning these defective tires. these tires all failed in the same exact manner (tread/tire separation) and all within weeks or months of each other. the tread pulled loose from the carcass, causing a bump-imbalance. i recognized the failure and was able to drive home where i changed to a spare. i later replaced this tire. this tire only have about 37,000 miles. walmart, where i purchased the tires, refuses to give any type of warranty or tire credit and no longer carry this tire. this tire had plenty of tread and was well within its life span. this liberator tire should be recalled and pulled off the market becuase of its consistent failure rate. i have sent complaints to uniroyal with no response. please have a recall before somone gets killed or injured. these things are junk.
VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL

July 7, 2011, my 2001 ford f250 diesel, cought on fire while my truck was in driveway. i was able to put fire out but my truck was rendered inoperable. ford has claimed several things that caused the fire including a backfire (which diesels do not do) and the mechanics i have had to look at it, including the local ford dealer's mechanic, came to the same conclusion, it was the cruise control. ford refuses to fix my vehicle, and i have been without transportation since then. i do not have the almost $3,000.00 that it will cost to fix my truck.

The truck was parked inside a metal building when the fire occurred around 1:41 a.m. while business was closed. fire originated from a failure in the brake switch mounted on the master cylinder resulting in the vehicle being destroyed and damage to the building and contents.
