| Tl-the contact owns a 2006 ford f-250. the contact stated that while driving 75 mph, the first brakes engaged independently. the brake disengaged as the abs warning light illuminated. on a separate occasion, the rear passenger brake engaged independently and emitted smoke. the brake unlocked after the system cooled down but the rotors showed signs of overheating. in addition, the front passenger brake overheated and caused the passenger side tire to blow. the vehicle was taken to a local mechanic and the failure was located at the front passenger side caliper. the vehicle was repaired. the vin was not available. the failure mileage was 45,000 and the approximate current mileage was 75,000. the vin was not available. kmj | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2006 ford f250. the contact stated that while driving at 75mph the first brake failure was experienced when the brake engaged by itself. the brake disengaged when the abs light illuminated. the second failure was experienced at the right rear brake locked while driving and emitted smoke and the brake unlocked after the system cool down but the rotors showed signed of overheating the right front brake also overheated and caused the right tire to blow. the vehicle was taken to the local garage. the failure was located a the front right caliper. the vehicle was repaired. the vin was not available. the failure mileage was 45,000 and the approximate failure mileage was 75,000. li | |||
