| I have over 118 pages of repairs dealing from electrical, suspension, engine failure, turbo, fluid leakage, oil cooler failure. ejectors, glow plugs and counting. they continue to reoccur time after time and dealer will not cover. i met alot of consumers that has the same vehicle and they all are having the same problem. i know that ford has sued the designer of the 6.0 engine and won billions but will not attempt to assist the consumer. the right thing to do is, if you know that if there's a problem with a problem why not assist the consumer in correcting instead of doing a patch job. they will not attempt to do the right thing unless someone force them to do so. thanks *tr | |||

| Tl-the driver owns a 2006 ford f250. while the vehicle was parked the contact attempted to start the vehicle and flames and smoke came from the gear shifter opening. the contact stated she took the key out of the ignition and smothered the smoke. the vehicle was towed to an authorized ford dealer. when the tow company representative try to start the vehicle the failure happen again, he smothered the flame and was able to tow the vehicle to the dealership. the contact was advised by the dealer that the failure was electrical. the vehicle was at the dealer at the time of this report. the failure and current mileage were 75,550. vwb | |||

| Speedometer and tachometer would not indicate the correct speed or rpm. driving on the highway the speedometer will drop to lower speed or will get stuck on certain speed. the tachometer will also drop to zero while you still have power. *tr | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated while driving at various speeds the gauges malfunctioned and the vehicle stalled. the vehicle was towed to the dealer. in an attempt to correct the problem the battery was replaced with no success, the instrument panel cluster was replaced which corrected the problem. | |||

| F 250 2006 hd 4x4 less than 2000 miles - driving vehicle, while turning and going down a hill, stalled out completely:dash board lights all came on. no brakes or steering. went off the road, into front yard of home which was for sale, hit for sale sign, nicked a tree in front yard and into handicap van in driveway, pushed van into neighbors yard. heavy front end damage sustained and sighted by police for failure to control vehicle!!! purchasing dealer could find no issues. first time this occurred was 3 weeks after nov. 2005 purchase. vehicle has been repaired, but did it again on 2-3-2006. dealer has been notified of this again. still no solution. over $10,000.00 damage to brand new vehicle. free loaner vehicle promised when purchased doesnt apply to body shop out of work with no vehicle for 2.5 weeks. *jb | |||
