| I was driving home from work last week when my 1999 ford f-250 5.4 liter v-8 triton engine blew a spark plug out of the head above the #7 cyl. i had it towed to the local ford dealer and they said it was caused by poor design, not enough threads in the head to hold the plug in. this is happening to a lot of ford owners across the country and this is definitely a safety hazard and could cause fires in the engine compartment. they are making me pay the full cost of repair even though the mechanic said the problem is caused by poor design. *nm | |||
