 2004 250 super duty diesel pick up. consumer would like to know if there will be a congressional hearing against ford motor corporation. *tgw the consumer stated during the summer of 2006, a surging issue started when driving on the freeway and in stop and go traffic. the dealer replaced numerous sensors, but the problem continued. the consumer also stated the vehicle stalled on the highway several times. the dealer was unable to determine the problem.*jb

 Dt*: the contact stated the vehicle accelerated on its own at various speeds intermittently. also, this had happened while stopped at a red light. the dealership had seen the vehicle five times. the first two times, the problem could not be duplicated. the third time, an unknown part was replaced. the fourth time, the computer was reprogrammed, but the problem persisted.

 F250 diesel engine has uncommanded throttle advance. in traffic environment, i need to keep a large interval in case truck decides to advance throttle on its own. this situation rules out parking in the garage. truck was purchased new from ford, has been in shop 6 times for same problem. *jb
