| Tl*the contact owns a 2005 ford f-250 sd. the contact noticed corrosion and rust at the lower region of all four welded door seams. in addition, the tailgate's lower inner/outer skin weld seam panel was separating, rusted, and corroded. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer, but there were no resolutions. the failure mileage was 38,200 and current mileage was 39,500. | |||

| My husband was attempting to step into his truck when his running board on the driver side broke in half with him and came completely off the truck, sending him to the ground. as he is disabled, this was a very scary situation. i feel if there is a shelf life or weight limit on these running boards, then the manufacturer has an obligation to have it posted somewhere on the truck. he hurt his back and hip but it could have been a lot worse had he fell on pavement instead of dirt. | |||
