| Tl-the contact owns a 2009 ford f-250 sd. while driving approximately 65 mph the tire pressure light illuminated on the dashboard. the contact stated he pulled over to the side of the road and inspected the tires. he stated the rear passenger side tire pressure was low and it was the spare tire that came with the vehicle. the contact stated he added the proper amount of air to the tire but continued to have the problem. the contact stated per the manual the light on the dashboard should go out after the air was added to the tire. the contact stated the light for the tire pressure continue to illuminate. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and the dealer advised him that there was no sensor in the spare tire and that was causing the light to stay on. he stated the dealer advised him that he could go buy a sensor if he wanted the light to go off. the contact called the manufacture and they advised him that they would call the dealer and get back with him. the contact stated he has not heard from the manufacture. the contact called the manufacture back today and they advised him of what the dealer had already told him. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was 6,500 and the current mileage was 6,600. vwb | |||
