| I have had 2 super duty's now a 2000 f350 and a 1999 f350 on the 2000 . i had the left front wheel bearings fail at 45k and the right at 53k miles running stock tires and wheels when the right side failed the wheel almost came off i had to be towed i sold that truck thinking i was not happy about it and got this one the 99 both front wheel bearings are out. i looked on the web this is a huge problem with these trucks can't even grease them and they are $550 each. *jb | |||

| 1999 ford f-350 super duty p/u clutch slave cylinder failed w/o warning. truck wouldn't come out of forward gear. clutch pedal ineffective - went to floor and stayed. narrowly missed woman and two children crossing intersection. truck brakes wouldn't stop or hold the truck. forward motion continued until ignition was shut off. this is the second time this has happened. the first time truck almost went through shopping center windows. ford charges over $500 to replace the part, which will again fail and probably cause death or serious injury. *tr | |||
