| Tl. the contact owns a 1999 ford f-350. the contact stated while making a turn or changing lanes while driving 30 mph the power steering system will not return the vehicle back to center causing the vehicle to drift outside the lanes. the contact stated called the dealer regarding this issue and the dealer stated this is a steering box issue and needs a diagnostic test. the contact also notice a recall regarding the steering:gear box (other than rack and pinion) (98v116000) but due to the vin number the contact vehicle does not fall into the recall. the contact stated the manufacturer should reissue the recall to other year make and model because this is a serious safety issue that can cause a crash. the failure mileage was 161,000. jo | |||
