| Tl*the contact owns a 2002 ford f-350 sd. while driving between 60-70 mph on normal road conditions, the contact depressed the accelerator pedal and the vehicle vibrated violently. the air bag warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel and remained lit until the engine was turned off. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for repair. on two separate occasions, the vehicle was taken back to the authorized dealer for the identical failure, but with no resolutions. recently, the vehicle turned onto two wheels after exhibiting the violent vibration. a police report was filed and the driver sustained minor injuries. the vehicle was towed and completely destroyed. the cause of failure has not been determined at this time. the failure mileage was 140,000 and the current mileage was unknown. 4/01/09 *nj updated 04/06/09.*jb | |||
