 Tl*the contact owns a 2004 ford f-350 sd. while driving 20 mph, the vehicle stalled. the vehicle was taken to the dealer six months after the failure began and they stated that there was failure with the gasoline fuel system. they changed a few wiring harnesses along with some other components, which corrected the failure for approximately two years. currently, the failure has recurred. the vehicle has been to the dealer several times, but they were unable to determine the cause of the failure. the vehicle is parked at the contact's residence. the failure mileage was 20,000 and current mileage was 77,000.

 Dt*: the contact stated while driving various speeds, the vehicle stalled and hesitated without warning. a nhtsa recall letter #05v270000, regarding electrical system: wiring was received and the vehicle was taken to the dealership. the dealership inspected the vehicle and determined nothing needed to be replaced. the problem persisted.

 Dt*: the contact stated recall (05v270000) regarding electrical system: wiring was performed which resulted the vehicle to stall twice, make different noises and had problems accelerating at 48 mph. the vehicle was taken to the dealer 8 times for this problem since 10/05 and the dealer was unable to duplicate the issue. also the gas mileage went down from 17 to 12 miles per gallon.*ak
