| Tl-the contact owns a 2005 ford f350 sd. the contact was driving approximately 50 mph on a nine degree upgrade mountainous road. unexpectedly, the wrench symbol warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel with a reduction in the engine power. immediately, the vehicle was taken to a nearby dealer for diagnosis. the failure was related to a broken wire in the electronic brakes. the technician secured the wire with tape. the identical failures reoccurred continuously. the vehicle was taken to the dealer on three different times in which there were no resolutions. there was a recall associated with nhtsa campaign id number 05v270000 (electrical system:wiring). the vin was not included in the recall. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified and was unable to provide assistance. the failure mileage was 72,000. js | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2005 ford f350. while driving at 25mph the engine shuts off and all power to the vehicle is lost. there was no warning light indicating there is a failure to the vehicle. the vehicle was taken to a mechanic shop they gave him a recall notice nhtsa# 05v270000, component: electrical system: wiring. informed him to take the information to the dealer in which he did. the dealer informs him his vin is not included in the recall. he also calls the manufacturer and was told his vin number was not included in the recall and he has to pay for the expense on the repairs. the failure and current mileage was 29,400....mw | |||
