 Tl-the contact owns a 2005 ford f-350 sd diesel. the contact stated that the vehicle was resistant to acceleration attempts. the vehicle was taken to the dealer where the contact was advised that the fuel tank was delaminating and preventing fuel from getting to the engine. as a result, the entire fuel tank would need to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. the failure and the current mileages were approximately 100,000. the vin was unavailable. kmj

 Tl-the contact owns a 2005 ford f-350 diesel. the contact stated that when trying to accelerate his vehicle to higher speeds it would not accelerate. the vehicle was taken to the dealer and they advised him that the there was de lamination in the gas tank and fuel was not getting to the engine as it should. they advised him that he needed to replace the gas tank itself. the vehicle had not been repaired. the manufacturer was contacted and they offered no assistance. the failure and current mileages were approximately 100,000. the vin was unavailable. tb

 Tl*the contact owns a 2005 ford f-350 sd. when attempting to start the vehicle, it would not start. while driving at various speeds, the contact noticed white smoke. she took the vehicle to the dealer on numerous occasions, but they could not determine the cause of the failures. the vin was excluded from nhtsa campaign id number 05v270000 (electrical system:wiring); therefore, she would have to replace the fuel injection control module at the cost of $1,133.52. the vehicle was repaired. the failure mileage was 69,000 and current mileage was 119,000.

 Dt: the contact stated the vehicle stalled intermittently. the first time the vehicle stalled it immediately restarted. the second time the vehicle stalled it was towed to the dealership. during both incidents the vehicle was traveling at 70 mph. the dealership replaced the fuel system injectors and modules. after the replacements the engine blew out. additionally, the dealer diagnosed a problem with the transmission at 8,000 miles, and repairs were made. based on all the problems with this vehicle, it has been at the dealership for three months. *ak

 Tl-the contact owns a 2005 ford f350 diesel. the contact stated while driving 70 mph the vehicle stalls. there was no power to the power steering and the entire vehicle. the vehicle was uncontrollable as he tried to pull to the side of the road. the vehicle was towed to the dealer who stated the fuel injector control module burnt out. there are no recalls or warranty for this failure. the cost would be $1300 to repair. the manufacturer was contacted and will give the contact a return call. the vin was unavailable. the failure mileage was 44,800...mw
