2011 ford motorhome chassis. consumer writes in regards to safety recall notice 12s27 concerning a motor defect *tgw the dealer informed the consumer, the part had to be ordered. two weeks went by, with no word from the dealer. when the consumer called them, he was then informed the part was on back order and there was no estimated time of arrival. after two months of not hearing from the dealer, the consumer visited them where he was informed there were 100 parts in another state, which should arrive by monday may 21, 2012. the dealer never called the consumer. the consumer was then instructed to visit another dealer. that dealer informed the consumer, that since the part had already been ordered at the previous dealer, the work would have to be performed there. as of july 23, 2012, the dealer has not called the consumer.

Found rear sway bar hardware missing allowing for sway bar to come loose from the chassis frame. research on other rv sites has indicated that this problem is not an isolated problem to my rv. rv's are somewhat unstable but this problem is compounded by suspension parts coming loose. many drivers of these rv's may not even be aware that they are loose. some drivers didn't know until they saw their sway bar hanging down below the rear differential.
