Truck has developed a radiator leak at 29,300 miles. ford would only cover 3/36,000 warranty. 2008 my superduty trucks with the 6.4l diesel engines are notorious for leaking radiators and oem will not stand behind them.
ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING - EXHAUST SYSTEM

We are on our 4th engine at 67,000 miles. while we are driving, the truck will just shut down, start blowing out black and white smoke. we have no brakes, no steering and working in colorado it has happened while coming down mountains and hills. theyve replaced every egr sensor at least twice, exhaust systems, the motor 4 times, you name it. ford continues to fix the problem under warranty but refuses to take the truck back - one of these days we will not be so lucky and someone will get hurt or even killed when it shuts down the next time! this truck has been in the shop so far a total of 150 days since we purchased it in may of 2009. it is currently in the shop for it's 4th engine after being in the shop for a week to replace sensors and gaskets. ford doesn't see this as a problem.
