| My low milage, extra clean 1994 ford f-150 2wd truck suddenly lurched to the side. upon investigation ,i discovered that the rear spring shackles had completely rotted off one side and half of the other. the steel was paper thin and separated in layers. the leaf spring damaged the bed as it was the only thing holding it down . new shackles had to be ordered as they are not a stocked item. other parts of the frame and related items show the same degridation. fragments available. | |||
