| All of intermittent windshield wiper settings do not work all of the time. additionally, sometimes i must jiggle the turn signal assembly to acctivate the headlights. more than once i have been driving for an undetermined amount of time before i realize my headlights are not working. i have had this part replaced before for he same problems. my wife owns a '98 ford explorer, same problem. a friend owns a '98 ford taurus, same problem. is this a safety related item that the manufacturer must keep replacing free of charge? *ak | |||

| When the wiper switch is turned onto intermittent , the time span between wipes is very irregular, sometimes up to 2 or 3 minutes between swipes of the wiper. also, the wipers do not function when put on the slow speed of the switch, and the switch must be turned up to full speed. *ak | |||
