Severe corrosion of brake lines that connect calipers and cylinders to tee fittings results in the rupture of the metal lines and results in the complete and immediate loss of the normal brake system. the latest failure is the brake line that connects master cyclinder to proportioning valve. i have replaced the forward and rear brake lines 3 (three) times since purchasing the truck in 1995. the loss of the vehicle's brake system is a severe safety hazard.
