Truck wanders on road and pulls when brakes applied, dealer was told of this problem since viehicle was purchased they never could find the problem. i have owned this viehicle for 3 years and have replaced brake pads 3 times and have had to replace the hubs twice myself at my expence out of warranty now. there was almost a fatality when i applied the brakes my truck pulled me into the ditch sliding and rocking from drivers side to passenger side up on two wheels. my airbag light flashes on and off. who knows if they even work. my overdrive switch has been replaced 4 times and is broke again. door ajar lite on constantly. but quality ford cant find or offer me some kind of solution. they need to be investigated.
SUSPENSION - FRONT - SHOCK ABSORBER
08/29/200743000106/15/1999
Exhaust leak from the manifold of a 1999 v10 f250 ford pick up truck. this truck has 43,000+ miles on it and went in for a annual safety penna. safety inspection. it failed because of the exhaust leak. this problem is caused by the fact that ford use uncoated steel bolts to attach the manifold to the engine. without notifying the owners, new coated bolts were available from ford to prevent this problem. this failure of notifying the vehicle owners endangered the occupants by allowing exhaust fumes to be drawn into the interior of the cab. the dealer stated the aim on headlights are low, checked front bearing and suspension parts, and replaced shocks. updated 09/25/07 *tr

I recently was at a ford dealer for a transmission related problem. while there i noticed that there was a leaf missing from my left rear leaf spring pack. when i mentioned it to the mechanic he said. oh yah, we've had to replace a lot of springs, they just keep breaking. he said if i looked on them i would notice that they were made in mexico. he said ford has been replacing a lot of springs. *jb
