| When the vehicle reached approx. 25,000 miles, the drivers side door started to make a knocking sound. the sound travels and may seem to be coming from anywhere in the general area of the door and door frame. i was able to pinpoint the noise to be originating from the nader pin or latching device. a little bit of lithium grease seemed to solve the problem for a while, but now the vehicle has 45,000 miles and the noise is getting worse. after talking with several people that own the same vehicle, i found that they all have the same problem. this may be an alignment problem or a problem with the latching device, in either case i question the integrity of the door to remain latched in the event of a crash.*ak | |||
