 Tl-the contact owns a 1999 ford f350. the contact stated that the passenger side rear dual wheel studs fractured. the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where they replaced the eight defective wheel studs. the failure mileage was approximately 115,000. the vin was unavailable. js

 Trucks two front wheels have cracked and will not hold air.*mr both front aluminum wheels. the crack on both wheels is located on the inside around the spoke. the dealer had contacted but provided no help. the wheels were replaced at the consumer's expense. *nm

 Manufacturer is refusing to honor the recall 03 e 028 000, because the wheels have a ford stamp on it.*ak

 When taking the rear wheel lugs: nuts off, the rear wheels get stuck and won't come out. dealer suggested to hit wheel with a hammer. common problem. *ak

 The left rear wheel separated from the vehicle, which caused the vehicle jerk foward. *jb the consumer requested an 03 vehicle or reimbursement for the incidental expenses. after the purchase of the vehicle, the manual, lockable hub(s) began to fail. the dealer convinced the consumer(s) to purchase 8 ply tires, but this didn't reduce the noise or hub problems, the consumer also experienced acceleration problem's. the dealer couldn't find the problem. the engine idled rough and the engine light had come on. a bad cam sensor was found, and a sound had come from the fuel pump. an adapter to the metal plate was built in, extending from the underdash, to the firewall, to provide a better ground system. scc

 While driving both center hub caps came off. problem was reported to dealership. dealer could not do anything about the problem. please provide any further information. *ak

 1999 ford f-350 left rear dual tires came off. *ts the police reported stated the dual studs were all sheared off. there was a possibility the studs were broken prior to the incident. *jb

 While in motion, the two rear tires on the left side broke off. one of the tires struck another on coming vehicle. the vehicle had been serviced for brakes 3 days prior to this incident, it was noted on the report that all lug nuts were loose, the right rear could be loosened by hand, ohio traffic crash report. *jg

 Dt: the contact stated both front rims cracked. the first rim cracked about six months ago and was replaced. the second rim has not been replaced. this started with a hairline crack on the spoke, then after driving the crack went all the way through. *ak

 The front rims had cracks on them. this caused the front tires to lose air prematurely. dealership replaced the rims/tires. *ak

 Consumer stated that the wheel rims cracked, and lost tire pressure rapidly. front driver's side rim was cracked. consumer called rim manufacturer, and was told that this particular type of rim, manufactured from 06/1996-06/1999, was being recalled. consumer then called ford, and was told that these rims were made exclusively for ford, and ford would be responsible for any rim recalls.*ak

 Consumer noticed two of the tires had slow leaks. vehicle was serviced, technician saw rim with cracks.*ak
 While driving and without warning consumer tire was slowly deflating. took vehicle to dealer, and mechanic stated there were pinholes on rim, causing tire to have a slow leak. also, recommended that consumer purchase another rim.*ak
 Consumer noticed passenger's right side frontal tire was losing pressure, tire would not stay inflated. consumer contacted dealer. dealer removed rim, and found a crack on inside of the rim about 4 inches long, causing tire to deflate. please provide any further details.*ak
