| Tl*the contact owns a 2000 ford f350. the dealer stated that the parts for nhtsa campaign id number 07v336000 (vehicle speed control) would be unavailable until december of 2007. the contact felt that the wait time for the part was excessive. there had been no failure to date. the current mileage was 31,100. the consumer was told there was a 6-8 month wait to have the repair made. updated 12/12/07. | |||

| While driving at state speed limit, and without warning, the vehicle started to accelerate up to 65-68 mph. consumer had applied brakes when acceleration occurs, however brakes failed. nlm | |||

| While getting on express way, with out warning, vehicle will accelerate to 65-68 mph; this resulted in all lights to illuminate on dash board. this cause a failure of the brakes and a rear end collision. nlm | |||
