| Tl-the contact owns a 2006 ford f350. the contact stated the vehicle lost power and would only accelerated to 30mph on the highway. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who performed a diagnosed that located the failure at the fuel tank liner caused the filter, and fuel lines to clogged. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure and the current miles was 38,000. li | |||

| Truck started running a little sluggish first two days and then began runnig rough and sluggish at time of accelaration and then blow big puff of black smoke out and take off with allot more power than normal.. it is at ford dealership being repaired now having injectors, fuel pump and fuel tank recoated because they say ford has a national back order on these tanks and will take 6 months to get. this tells me along with the problems i am finding other people are having online that this is a big problem. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2004 ford f-350 sd diesel. the contact was driving approximately 60-70 mph with a camper in tow as the vehicle stalled with the illumination of the abs warning light. the dashboard also became abnormally dim. after inspecting the vehicle, the contact discovered that the vehicle battery was dad and replaced it with the camper battery. the vehicle was taken to a local repair shop where they performed a diagnostic but they were unable to determine the cause of the failure. the vehicle battery was recharged and the failure did not recur for another four months. the vehicle was then taken to the same local mechanic where the mechanic replaced the fuel injector. the computer was removed from the vehicle and taken to an authorized dealer for a reset flash. the vehicle performed as normal until the failure recurred one year later. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was awaiting the replacement of the fuel injector. the contact referenced recall 05v270000 (electrical system:wiring) but did not confirm if the vehicle was included in the recall. the approximate failure mileage was 120,000 and the current mileage was approximately 150,000. | |||

| My 2004 ford 350 super duty began irregular fuel feeding while i was driving down rt 95 from va to ga. i pulled off at an exit in kingsland, ga. and got a room at the days inn. while attempting to park in the motel parking lot...with my foot on the brake...the engine surged and the truck moved at least 15-20 feet forward because of the fuel surging. i had my foot on the brake and never touched the accelerator and i could not stop the truck from moving forward. i had it towed to the local ford dealership where they diagnosed a bad sensor. they charged me about $1,400 for repairs and it has been working fine since. i am reporting this to nhtsa, in part, because of the toyota publicity recently. i'm not a toyota fan, i'm a ford loyalist, but it occurred to me that a surge like the one i experienced in my super duty could have resulted in injury or death to others if it had occurred under other circumstances. my truck is the 6.0 liter model and only had about 52,000 miles on it at the time it began surging. i can probably find the receipt for repairs and the name/number of the ford dealership who repaired the truck if needed. thanks! *tr | |||

| Pulling my 5th wheel camper with f350 dulley only 23 miles from home at 60 miles mph drivers side outside duell 3/4 of tread separated from tire down to steel belts ripped duelley fender off truck damaged to camper also . this is the 2ed tire to do this the 1st tire was on passenger side front driving 70 mph damaged 1/4 panel ,bumper ,running board .this happened on 12/29/08 both tires had 78lbs psi after tread separation and held air for 3 days .looking at the two tires after the tread separated you could not tell the difference between the two tires also weighed axles on truck and was 4200lbs under load limit of tires . the tire are general ameritrac tr 23585./16 1st tire did 2000$ in damages .i have not got est. for damages on truck and trailer from 2ed tire as of this time. *tr | |||

| I purchased a used ford f350 super duty 4x4 truck on 11-18-2005, from butler ford in medford or. since this purchase i have had repeated problems with the turbocharger system on this truck (check engine light on, egr valve,eec &egr , mass air flo sensor, hoses blowing off turbo charger) i have taken this truck to be repaired many times at multiple ford dealerships across the united states ( i was on a vacation, and had continual problems with the hoses blowing off the turbocharger) at the last repair attempt i was told that ford motor co. was replacing turbochargers on these trucks. i had the turbocharger replaced and had the truck about 1 week when the check engine light came on again , i returned the truck to the dealer repair shop(300.00 in fees again!) when the truck was returned to me i took a trip, approximately 400 miles and again the check engine light is on. each time this check engine light comes on i have problems with the hoses connecting the turbocharger to the engine manifold blowing off, the truck looses power stranding me on the road. i have had to replace the hoses on my own to continue driving this truck. the last incident i had with this problem i was almost hit by a logging truck while trying to direct traffic around my disabled truck, the trucker who almost hit me called the oregon state police and i was told to remove the truck from the highway or i would receive a citation for having an unsafe vehicle . i have tried to resolve this problem with ford motor co. customer relations center .when i contact them they tell me there is nothing they can do about this problem even though this truck was still under warranty when it was purchased and has had repeated repair attempts for the same problem. *tr | |||
