 Dt*: the contact stated the vehicle lost power while driving under normal conditions. the contact, a mechanic for fleet, determined the fuel tank lining was coming apart and getting into the fuel system. the fuel tank needed to be replaced. the fleet has two other vehicles with the same problem. *ak updated 02/02/07. *jb

 Tl* - the contact was having continuous failures with 2000 ford f450 truck. the fuel tank corroded, causing it to clog the fuel injection system. the contact called ford ,and was told to contact nhtsa. the mechanic told him that there have been several ford fuel tanks having the same failure. the original fuel tank was in the vehicle for 6 years, the first replacement of fuel tank lasted eight months. the vehicle was currently being repaired.*ak
