 There was a recall on the brakes/rotors on this vehicle. i have had them replaced 2 years straight and now this is the third year and the same problem is developing. the first replacement was paid for by ford. a year later, crown ford informed me that i would have to pay, but reduced the cost by only charging me for parts, which was over $300.00+. upon getting a front-end alignment, i was told by firestone that the rear rotors will soon need to be replaced. there is a problem here with this car and brakes and i feel i am being mislead. my ford 2006 was purchased in december 2005. *tr

 2006 ford five hundred tire blew out causing consumer to loose control and overturn the vehicle. *kb * the consumer stated she felt a vibration prior to the accident. *jb the consumer stated it did not appear that the incident was due to a tire failure. possibly the lug nuts and wheel were the cause. updated 09/24/06. *jb

 Dt*: the contact stated on 7-29-06 while driving on the interstate at 70 mph, the tire, rim and a portion of the wheel had separated from the wheel but was still attached. the incident resulted in the contact losing control of the vehicle and caused an accident, but no one was injured. prior to the incident, the vehicle drifted to the left rapidly. both seat belts were in use at the time. the manufacturer was contacted and declined to inspect the vehicle because there was no prior history of this type of problem. the vehicle was totaled and a police report was taken. *ak
