| Tl- the contact owns a 2006 ford focus. the contact stated that while trying to open the passenger side rear door it seized. the contact was able to open the door from the inside. the contact was able to drive to their destination. the vehicle was not taken to a mechanic. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was contacted about the issue and informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign id number 05v030000 (latches/locks/linkages: doors: latch). the failure mileage was 190,250 and the current mileage was 191,080. pmb | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated while accelerating 5 mph from a stop sign on normal road conditions, a vehicle traveling 35 mph impacted the contact's vehicle on the driver side front fender. the vehicle was towed to a yard who deemed the vehicle was totaled. the other vehicle incurred slight damages. the contact sustained minor injuries. the contact expressed that the vehicle must be a safety hazard if the vehicle's parts would be scatter all over the road after an impact of low speed. a police report was taken. | |||
