LATCHES/LOCKS/LINKAGES

We have taken our car to the ford service center no less than six times because the interior door locks will not unlock (power locks). there is not a manual way to unlock the doors. our teenage daughter drives this vehicle and we are concerned for her well-being of being able to get out of the vehicle for any reason (accident, fire, and inconvenience). ford has claimed that nothing can be done and it's attributable to us living off of a dirt road and the car design does not include door weatherstripping. we are giving ford one last opportunity to correct before hiring an attorney. the car is still under warranty and has not been in any accidents. *tr

I own a 2010 ford focus. the back door on the driver's side will not open or close. the dealer was supposed to have fixed it but it is back to not working. this same thing has happened to my son who owns a 2008 ford focus. i think ford needs a recall on the 2008 and 2010 ford focus.
