2007 ford fusion light switch ,with fog light, switch bezel clips are breaking. the whole assembly fell out due to having weak mounting clips. the normal switch that doesn't require you to pull on it to turn on the fog lights probably doesn't have this issue. i use my lights day and night including the fog lights during the day for safety. this could cause wire breaks and possibly an electrical short if a new bezel with stronger mounting clips aren't installed. *tr
EXTERIOR LIGHTING - HEADLIGHTS
02/14/20071
The headlights are excessively directional and fail to light the road on low beam. when driving on a road with hills and curves, the headlights do not light the valleys when at the top of the hills and do not light the road sufficiently around corners. if the driver selects high beam, the drivers of oncoming vehicles are blinded, even if driving on a freeway with a wide median when the headlights are pointed across the median while driving around a curve. the only way to see potholes directly in front of the car at night is by turning on the fog lights since the front bumper causes a shadow in front of the vehicle, and the styling of the headlights prevents light from getting to the sides of the vehicle. this is a continuous problem, not a one day event. *tr
EXTERIOR LIGHTING - TURN SIGNAL
02/18/20101
This morning, when the temperature was about 5 degrees, the turn signals failed to work for a right turn, then for a left turn. whenever the temperature is near or below zero, the turn signals fail to work. it is sometimes possible to get them to work by pushing and holding the level, but not even that works at about -10 degrees or colder. the dealer refused to look at it, they just say, can not duplicate. this is about the fourth time this winter that i have had difficulty getting them to work. the lack of a signal for a lane change and the distraction of trying to get it to work could lead to a collision. *tr
